When to call Triple Zero (000)? You should only call Triple Zero (000) in life threatening or time critical situations when an urgent response is required from police, fire or ambulance.
What will happen when I call Triple Zero (000)?
The operator will ask you which emergency service you require—police, fire or ambulance —and will connect you. The operator may also ask where you are calling from.When you call Triple Zero (000), stay calm, stay on the line and clearly answer the operator’s questions.

24 Hour (Non Emergency Support)
Mental Health Emergency Response Line ( MHERL) (In Western Australia) For Perth Metropolitan Area Call 1300 555 788, for the the Peel Region call 1800 676 822. MHERL is a 24-hour, 7 Day a week, telephone service for people in the Perth metropolitan area experiencing a mental health crisis. It provides contact with a trained mental health clinician who ca provide a mental health assessment, crisis support, crisis planning and brief intervention and mental health system navigation.
