For adults seeking reflective, trauma-informed therapy and psychologists seeking clinical supervision or peer consultation
Feeling stuck in emotional or relational patterns that keep repeating, even when you understand them intellectually?
Many people come to therapy not because they are in crisis, but because something inside keeps reacting in ways they don’t fully understand.
We offer online psychological therapy for adults who want to explore what’s happening beneath their reactions — with curiosity, care, and depth — rather than simply learning strategies to manage symptoms.
Our work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, alongside other evidence‑informed approaches, and is suited to people who are interested in reflective, trauma‑informed therapy at their own pace.
For psychologists and registrars:
Roberto also offers IFS-informed clinical supervision and peer consultation for psychologists and registrars seeking a reflective, trauma-aware space.
Therapy is shaped as much by how you relate with your therapist as the approach itself.

How We Work:
Our primary therapeutic framework is Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, which understands each person as having an authentic core Self — a calm, compassionate inner presence — alongside different parts that hold emotions, beliefs, and protective roles shaped by life experience.
In therapy, we focus on creating a sense of safety and collaboration. Sessions move at your pace and are guided by what feels most relevant and manageable for you. Rather than trying to eliminate or control difficult reactions, we become curious about their purpose and how they developed.
Many people find that approaching their inner experience with curiosity and compassion supports deeper understanding, emotional balance, and a stronger sense of self-connection. This process is experiential and reflective, allowing insight to emerge gradually rather than being forced or rushed.
While IFS is our primary modality, we integrate other evidence-informed approaches — including EMDR, Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness — where appropriate, consistent with our training and scope of practice as Clinical Psychologists.
We welcome clients from all backgrounds, cultures, identities, and belief systems, and we value creating an inclusive environment where all parts of you can feel acknowledged and respected.
Although IFS is our primary modality, we also draw on a range of evidence-informed psychological approaches—including EMDR, Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness—consistent with our training and scope of practice as Clinical Psychologists. Together, we tailor sessions to your goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.
A Gentle Way of Understanding Yourself
IFS therapy recognises that many of us carry parts we’ve learned to avoid, ignore, or push down. When explored gently and at your own pace, these parts can become pathways to deeper understanding rather than sources of conflict or shame.
As Joseph Campbell wrote, “The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.”
While everyone’s journey is unique, this quote reflects the spirit of curiosity and courage that can support inner exploration.
Understanding “Parts” in IFS Therapy
What are Parts?
Most people notice that different sides of them show up in different situations, even if they don’t have language for it. You might feel calm and reflective in one moment, then reactive, withdrawn, or self-critical in another.
In the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, “parts” refers to the different thoughts, emotions, sensations, and urges that make up our inner experience. These parts are not symptoms or flaws — they are aspects of us that developed for a reason, often in response to life experiences or challenges.
People commonly notice parts as:
conflicting thoughts or inner debates
strong or subtle emotional reactions
body sensations that arise under stress
impulses or urges that feel automatic
This is a common human experience. At times, these inner responses can feel at odds with how we want to act or who we believe ourselves to be, which can be confusing or frustrating.
IFS therapy offers a gentle and collaborative way to explore these inner experiences. Rather than trying to control, suppress, or override parts, we work to understand their intentions and the roles they’ve taken on. This exploration happens at your pace and with care, supporting greater clarity, balance, and connection with yourself over time.
Is IFS Therapy right for you?
IFS therapy may be helpful if you’re interested in understanding what’s happening beneath emotional reactions, patterns, or long-standing difficulties — rather than focusing only on managing symptoms.
People often seek this approach when they notice they are pulled in different directions internally, feel overwhelmed by certain emotions, or find themselves repeating familiar patterns despite insight or previous therapy. IFS offers a way of working with these experiences that is curious, respectful, and non-judgemental.
This approach may suit you if you’re interested in:
slowing down and paying attention to your internal experience
understanding emotional triggers and recurring patterns
exploring the protective strategies you’ve developed over time
engaging in therapy that allows for depth and reflection
working at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you
Many people describe this kind of work as inner child work — gently exploring younger parts of themselves that still carry emotional burdens, protective strategies, or unmet needs, even when adult insight is present.
IFS is not a quick-fix or skills-only approach. Some people prefer a more structured, directive, or solution-focused style of therapy, particularly when seeking immediate strategies. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to talk through what you’re hoping for and whether this way of working aligns with your needs and preferences.
Online Therapy: Accessible & Flexible
Online sessions allow you to attend therapy from a space that feels comfortable and private, without the need to travel. Many people find that connecting from a familiar environment supports reflection and helps them engage more fully in the work.
Sessions are conducted via a secure Telehealth platform, providing a discreet and confidential way to access psychological support.
Telehealth also makes therapy accessible for people living outside metropolitan areas or in regions where specialist services may be limited. We work with clients across Australia and are happy to guide you through the process if online therapy is new to you.
Our Integrated Approach
While our work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, we also draw on other evidence-informed approaches where helpful. This may include elements of EMDR, Schema Therapy, CBT, somatic and mindfulness-based work.
These approaches are used in service of the therapy process, rather than as techniques applied in isolation. The pace and focus of therapy are guided collaboratively, with careful attention to safety, readiness, and what feels most supportive for you at each stage.
