Standard Session Cost
$250 for a 50-minute session
$350 for a 90-minute session (by prior arrangement only)
We recognise that therapy is a meaningful investment, and we’re committed to providing high-quality care while making it as accessible as possible. Below are options that may help reduce out-of-pocket expenses.
Please note that our standard session length is 50 minutes. If you feel a longer session would be beneficial, a 90-minute option is available by prior agreement only. This ensures transparency and respect for your time and financial commitment.
Medicare Rebates
You may be eligible for Medicare rebates under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP or psychiatrist.
2024/25:
Our Standard Fee: $250 for a 50 Minute Appointment.
2024/25 Medicare rebate: $141.85.
Out-of-pocket cost: $108.15
To access this rebate, visit your GP or psychiatrist to obtain an MHCP. A copy of the plan must be provided to us before your first session to claim the rebate. The plan authorises up to 6 initial sessions, with the possibility of 4 additional sessions upon review by your GP in each calendar year.

Other Funding Support Options
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
Eligible veterans and defence community members may receive fully funded psychological services through DVA. Ensure you have a valid referral from your GP or psychiatrist.
Private Health Insurance
Rebates may be available through your private health insurance under ancillary cover. Contact your insurer to confirm your entitlements.
Workers Compensation
We do not accommodate Workers’ Compensation or motor vehicle injury claims.
Understanding the Cost of Therapy
For the 2024/25 financial year, the Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends a fee of $311 per session, reflecting the value of services from highly trained and experienced clinical psychologists.
