Welcome to our
Online IFS therapy practice:
Supporting your emotional well-being and personal growth.
We offer a supportive telehealth space for emotional well-being, trauma recovery, and personal growth. Our approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, a model that understands each person as having an authentic Self — a compassionate, steady inner presence — along with parts that carry different roles, emotions, and experiences. This framework guides how we explore challenges together.
In our work, we aim to create a sense of safety and collaboration so you can get to know your internal experiences at your own pace. Many people find that approaching their inner world with curiosity and kindness helps them develop insights and strengthen self-awareness. While every person’s journey is unique, IFS offers a gentle, experiential way of understanding patterns, emotions, and underlying protective strategies.
We welcome clients from all backgrounds, cultures, identities, and belief systems, and we value creating an inclusive environment where all parts of you can feel acknowledged and respected.
Although IFS is our primary modality, we also draw on a range of evidence-informed psychological approaches—including EMDR, Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness—consistent with our training and scope of practice as Clinical Psychologists. Together, we tailor sessions to your goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.
IFS therapy recognises that many of us carry parts we’ve learned to avoid, ignore, or push down. When explored gently and at your own pace, these parts can become pathways to greater understanding.
As Joseph Campbell wrote, “The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.” While everyone’s journey is unique, this quote reflects the spirit of curiosity and courage that can support inner exploration.
IFS offers an invitation to approach your inner world with compassion, and to understand the protective and vulnerable parts of you in a new way. Over time, this process may help deepen self-awareness and support your personal growth.
Online IFS Therapy:
Welcoming All Parts of You
What are Parts?
In the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, “parts” describes the different thoughts, emotions, sensations, and urges that make up our inner experience. When you pause and pay attention to what is happening inside, you might notice these parts as:
conflicting thoughts
strong or subtle emotions
triggered sensations
impulses or urges
Many people notice that different parts of them respond in different ways at different moments. This is a common human experience, and IFS offers a compassionate framework for understanding it. Sometimes these inner responses can feel at odds with how we wish we could think or behave, which can be confusing or frustrating.
IFS therapy offers a gentle way to explore these experiences. Together, we get to know the intentions behind each part’s behaviour and the roles they have taken on. This exploration happens at your pace and in collaboration with you.
Through this process, you may develop a clearer understanding of your inner world, experience more balance, and feel more connected to yourself.
Is IFS Therapy right for you?
IFS may be helpful if you’re looking for a way of understanding your inner experience that goes beyond surface-level coping. People often seek this approach when they feel pulled in different directions, overwhelmed by certain emotions, or frustrated by repeating patterns they can’t seem to shift.
IFS offers a gentle framework for exploring what’s happening beneath those reactions. It doesn’t assume that any part of you is “bad” or needs to be eliminated. Instead, it supports you to understand the intentions behind your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and to build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
IFS may be suitable if you’re interested in:
slowing down and tuning into what’s happening inside
understanding triggers or emotional patterns more clearly
exploring the protective strategies you’ve developed over time
taking things at your own pace without pressure or judgement
Some people find this approach meaningful because it allows for depth while still feeling safe and contained. Others may prefer a more structured or skills-focused method. If you’re unsure, we can talk through what you’re hoping for in therapy and see whether IFS aligns with your needs and preferences.
